Keeping House: Kenwood Above and Below Stairs at Kenwood

Keeping House - Students explore the history of Kenwood and the lives of the Mansfield family in Georgian times. They pretend to be servants, looking at the scale of the house and the symbols in the decoration, before going ‘below stairs’ to get hands-on with the day-to-day activities in Kenwood’s Old Kitchen, experiencing how much work it would have been to run a country house.
