Overview

Marble Hill is the last-remaining example of the magnificent villas and gardens that once bordered the River Thames during the 18th century. Built for Henrietta Howard, a remarkable woman who forged herself an independent life against all odds, it’s the perfect place to explore topics in the KS1 and KS2 curriculum. Whether it’s significant events, people and places in the locality, or your Local History study, we’ve got it covered. Our brand-new, interactive Discovery Visit, featuring an expert-led tour of the recently restored house and gardens, will bring the fascinating story of Marble Hill to life.
