Overview

Book a free self-led visit to Rushton Triangular Lodge and organise your day to suit your curriculum objectives. The Lodge was built by Sir Thomas Tresham, a Roman Catholic who was imprisoned for fifteen years in the late 16th century for refusing to become a Protestant. When he was released in 1593, he designed the Lodge to publicly show his faith. His belief in the Holy Trinity can be seen everywhere in the Lodge by looking for the number three: how many can your students spot?
