Christmas Wheat Weaving Decorations

Overview
Join Carol Partridge for an afternoon of wheat weaving to create your very own Christmas decorations. Carol is a specialist in making intricately crafted corn dollies and other wheat woven items, and is one of only a handful of remaining straw weavers left in the UK.
Learn the history of the craft whilst you get weaving and make at least 2 pieces to take home.
Children aged over 12 years old are welcome when accompanied by another ticket holding adult.
Hot drinks, biscuits and light buffet provided during the workshop.
All materials provided.
Please note that you will be handling wheat with your hands and there will be debris in the room throughout the activitiy. Those with allergies should check if this is a suitable activitiy for them.
