Overview
This tour offers the chance to climb to the viewing gallery at the top of the Jubilee Tower, offering fantastic views of Shrewsbury, and the surrounding countryside beyond from the eighth storey of the building.
The tour lasts 60 minutes. It is a walking tour with stairs only access to the eighth floor and is suitable only for people with a good head for heights. A Jubilee Tower tour involves walking up 76 additional steps as well as the 56 steps to the Jubilee Tower. There are fully working lifts that can take people up to the upper floors if required up to the fourth floor. The final 56 steps of the Jubilee Tower can ascended by foot only.
Weather appropriate clothing is recommended as some of the tour is outside.
