Overview
Join Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings as English Heritage launch a series of workshops at their latest historic attraction. Responding to the community mosaic mural curated by Sarah Evans, Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings would like to invite families to a series of free practical workshops this summer holidays. Each workshop will focus on one or more of the artwork squares of the mosaic mural which is on display on the east terrace, and they will explore through music, arts, drama and storytelling, the significance of the stories behind the squares, and what they mean to local families and our local heritage.
Tickets are free, but places are limited so you will need to book in advance. All members of the family need to book an individual ticket.
Each workshop will feature a different square of the mosaic, so families can book for more than one if they wish. Please cancel your ticket if you are unable to attend so another family can enjoy the experience.
Workshop is aimed at families with children 5 to 12 but older siblings can join in.
